The Class of 2025 yards signs are up! Each of one of these signs represents a student that has worked for 12 years to earn their high school diploma. Each student could not have made it to this point without the support of family, friends, relatives, teachers, support staff, counselors, administrators, and the community. It took a village to raise each one! The big day is near for the Class of 2025! Here are some important upcoming dates for our seniors: Class Night: Thursday, May 8 7:00 p.m. (Cafeteria) Seniors Last Day: Tuesday, May 13 Senior Walk: Friday, May 16 10:30 a.m. All seniors will walk through the elementary halls in their caps and gowns. Graduation Practice: May 16 11:00 a.m. (H.S. Gym) 59th Zane Trace Commencement-May 17 6:00 p.m. (H.S. Gym) Doors will open at 5:00 p.m.

Daily Announcements Students attending the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Field Trip will be dismissed at 8:55 a.m. to board the bus. Senior Class Night is on May 8th at 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. New CCP students will be attending a field trip on May 7th at OUC. The bus will leave at 8:30 a.m. and return at 2:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided by OUC. Zane Trace High School Newsletter, Issue 19- May 2025 Edition The May 2025 edition of the ZTHS Newsletter will be the final newsletter of the school year. A huge thanks to Mrs. Leyna Bsat and the students in our Journalism class for their efforts this year! They put a lot of time into researching stories, interviewing, and then writing the stories each month. The newsletter can be found on our high school website in the Documents section at:https://www.zanetrace.org/o/zth/documents. They will also be delivered soon to the Kingston Market, Pizza Pioneer, and Young's Family Market in Laurelville. Our Journalism class also prepares the announcements that are sent to each student in Google Classroom. Announcements are also sent to each parent/guardian (s) via SMS text and posted on Facebook and our ZTHS web page Live Feed daily. Each student in the class also takes turns reading the announcements over the intercom throughout the week. Those students are: Alexis Benson, Grayson Dyke, Judah Hanks, Kaci Kuntz, Hadley Matthews, Catherine Morrison, Maggie Morrison, Breanna Mumaw, Ezra Rippeth, Hannah Roark, Jocelynn Simpson, and Brynn Wipert.

Daily Announcements A PBIS Field Day is scheduled for Monday, May 12th from 12:00 p.m. to 2 p.m. Students’ that met the criteria for either of the first three nine weeks will be receiving an invite to attend the event. Students that meet the criteria for the fourth nine weeks will find out on May 8th. Reminder for any high school girl playing volleyball next season, the fundraiser calendars are due today. Please bring them to Coach Ward’s room. Boys Soccer will have an open field Thursday 2:30-4:30. See Mr. Scott for more details. Today is Outside Day for Hope Week. Join us on Wednesday, April 30th for the 5th-12th Grade Band Spring Concert at 7pm in the Zane Trace High School Gym! Admission is free. There will be a bake sale available from 6pm-7pm and between groups. Help us celebrate the hard work of our students, especially the seniors!
