There will be a MADE Ambassador meeting today at lunch in room 146.
A representative from the Ohio National Guard will be here today during lunch to talk with anyone interested.
Reminder to all Juniors that the ACT will be given here at ZT on Tuesday, February 24. Bring a fully charged Chromebook, calculator, and snack. We will begin in the high school gym at 7:45.
The BPA chapter is hosting a donut and hot chocolate fundraiser this Friday in front of the teacher's lounge. The proceeds support the Ross County Special Olympics.
The 5th-12th Grade Band is raising money to replace uniforms. They are taking orders for Chick-fil-A sandwiches today and tomorrow. Sandwiches will be kept warm and will be ready for pick-up before the 7th-12th Grade OMEA Winter Preview Concert next Thursday, February 26th, from 6:15-7:00. The concert will begin at 7 pm. There will be chips and beverages available for purchase at pick-up to round out the meal. Scan the QR code on the posters or visit the ZT Website to place orders online through the link. Cash or a check can be given to Mrs. Waller. Payment can also be made by Venmo or PayPal. Thank you for your support!

The Zane Trace 5th-12th Grade Band is currently running a Chick-fil-A Fundraiser on Thursday, the 26th, before the 7th-12th Grade Band Winter OMEA Preview Concert. The sandwiches will be ready to pick up or consume from 6:15-7:00pm outside the Middle School Gym. Sandwiches are $7 each. There will be Pepsi products and a variety of chips available for $1 each as well.

Payment can be made with cash/checks (Zane Trace Band Boosters) and given to Mrs. Waller or paid online with a credit card to David Houts (Venmo: @davidhouts, paypal: @DvdHts). He will be picking up the sandwiches in a heated bag on Thursday and the sandwiches will be kept in the heated bag during the pick-up time. Pickles and sauces will be available on the side.
The 7th-12th Grade Band OMEA Preview Concert is Thursday, February 26th at 7pm in the Middle School Gym. The Junior High Band will play 2-3 short pieces. The 8th-12th Grade Band will play 4 relatively short pieces. The 8th-12th Grade Band will perform these pieces again for Ohio Music Education Association District 16 Large Group Adjudicated Events on Saturday, March 7th at 10:25am at Miami Trace High School. The Junior High Band will perform their pieces as smaller ensembles for OMEA District 16 Junior High Solo and Ensemble at Chillicothe Middle School on Saturday, April 18th. All events are free and open to the public!
The Zane Trace Band Boosters are working hard to raise money to replace the marching band uniforms and annual operating fees. Donations are always appreciated as well. Congratulations to the swim team! Thirteen members placed and scored points in the OHSAA Division II Sectional Swim Meet. Many personal records were set.
The girls swim team placed 8th out of 20 teams.

A lot of work goes into being selected, preparing, and performing with honor bands. We are extremely proud of their efforts and accomplishments. Thank you for taking advantage of these opportunities! Way to go, Pioneers!

Attention: this is for all BPA students attending the Columbus Blue Jackets Leadership Day. We are leaving after lunch Wed. You need to be at the superintendent's doors to load the bus as soon as possible after lunch. At 10:45, we leave. Bring only what you need for the day. You cannot carry in any bags that are larger than 8X5X1 inches. Dress warm. No crocks, no jeans with holes. Wear gloves and hoodies or warm hats and coats. Bring money to eat before and during the game. Any questions, please talk to Mrs. Thornton or Ms. Black.
The second nine-week PBIS Field trip to Shawnee Lanes was rescheduled for Friday, February 20th.
