Daily Announcements
The 1st and 5th period exams are today. Students can leave after their final exam for the day if you have parent or guardian permission on file in the office.
Thursday, May 21st is a make-up exam day. A student only needs to attend if they need to make-up an exam.
All Chromebooks and chargers need to be turned into the teacher who administers your last exam of the week. Mr. Lyle will come around and collect all Chromebooks at the completion of exams.
Please clean out your lockers before you leave for the summer.

Good luck to Ali Payton, Robert Whittington, Anna Helber and Autumn Vick as they compete at the State Science Fair this Saturday.

The senior walk is at 10:30 a.m. this morning. They will be waltzing through the building in their caps and gowns. Graduation practice starts approximately at 10:45 a.m. Teachers that are participating in the practice will take their classes to the middle school gym at the start of 5th period.

Mrs. Thornton, our high school Information Technology teacher, is incredibly proud of her students who participated in the Ohio Code Scholar program! 🎉
The Ohio Code Scholar program provides students with a hands-on learning experience in 3D printing, electronics, coding, and robotics, with this year’s featured project focused on MiniDomes.
On Monday, May 11, 2026, Southern State Community College brought together over 1,300 students from across Ohio to showcase the amazing projects they worked on throughout the school year.
Mrs. Thornton is especially proud of the 7 students who also completed this program as a dual-enrollment course, earning both college credit through Southern State and high school credit.
Congratulations as well to two award winners:

🏆 3rd Place – Exceptional Operations – Torrin Darst
These students represented our school incredibly well, and Mrs. Thornton is excited to see how they continue to grow their technology, engineering, and problem-solving skills in the future! 👏💻🤖

A representative from the United States Air Force will be at Zane Trace during our lunch on Wednesday, April 13. Please visit with them if you are interested or have questions.
All seniors will be released to the library at 9:30 a.m. to turn in their ZT Chromebook and charger.
Students that have qualified to attend the PBIS Field Day scheduled for noon today will be released by grade level beginning at 11:55 a.m. Seniors will be released first and then juniors, sophomores, freshman. The next grade level will not be released into the roster check if complete is done for a grade level.
