
Parent Advisory Committee Meeting Minutes
September 26, 2023
Our most recent meeting has resulted in several changes and/or projects that are in the works. The first project is a Career Day that will be held on Thursday, December 14th from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. We are looking for representatives from a wide variety of careers and colleges that would be willing to come talk to our students.

Announcements
Homecoming tickets will be on sale until 3:00 today.
Homecoming and Pumpkin show attendants will be practicing on the football field at the beginning of 8th period today. Please meet by Mrs. Morton’s room.
Student Council will not meet at lunch, but please stop by Mrs. Morton’s room to pick up a permission slip.
Homecoming Dance is tomorrow night at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6:50 p.m.

Zane Trace High School Newsletter, Issue 3
Our Journalism class has developed their first newsletter! We have also attached Mrs. Myers new Counselor's Corner that will be attached to the newsletter.
The newsletter will start popping up in locations throughout the community throughout the next week.



Due to the possibility of rain this afternoon and evening, the bonfire that was scheduled for tonight has been cancelled.

A reminder that we are having a bonfire tonight up on the hill behind the school from 7 to 9 p.m. This is weather permitting.
Homecoming Tickets are still on sale in the cafeteria during lunch. Reminder to fill out the paperwork prior to purchasing your tickets. The last chance to buy tickets will be on Friday.

The boys' and girls' soccer games scheduled for tonight have been cancelled due to the impending weather.

Our boys' golf team competed at the Division II Sectionals at the Jaycees Golf Course yesterday. They had a team score of 387 and finished 11th at sectionals.
Jon Grondolsky had a score of 84, which qualified him for the Division II District Tournament that will be at Crown Hill on October 4th!

Picture Day is today. We will release students by grade level to report to the middle school gym for pictures. Middle school students are getting their pictures taken first, so high school will be a little later this morning.
A reminder that we are having a bonfire Thursday night up on the hill behind the school from 7 to 9 p.m.
Homecoming Tickets are still on sale in the cafeteria during lunch. Reminder to fill out the paperwork prior to purchasing your tickets.
We have four students participating in the Ohio Legislative Leadership Conference today at the Ohio Statehouse. The students are Charley Clyne, Ashleigh Hupp, Lily Rose, and Sadie Swepston.

Our boys' soccer team won, 3-0, over Lucasville Valley tonight!
They are now 8-2 on the season.





Our girls' golf team competed at the Division II Girls Sectional Tournament at Buckeye Hills Country Club.
Mary Helber had a score of 89, which qualified her for the Division II District Tournament!
The district tournament will be held at the Jaycees Golf Course on October 3rd.
Overall, the team had a score of 436 and finished 7th at sectionals.
