The Andy Haines Memorial Track Meet scheduled for tonight at Paint Valley High School has been canceled due to the impending weather.

4/11/24 Announcements FFA Meeting today during lunch Ms. Black’s classes will be taking the Webxam today in the library. Study hall will report to Ms. Black’s room. A prom promise activity is scheduled for our juniors and seniors tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. All juniors and seniors will be dismissed at 8:15 a.m. and they will report to the hill leading up to the softball diamond. After the activities outside are complete, the juniors and seniors will report to the gym to listen to a guest speaker. At the conclusion of the prom promise activity, the seniors are free to leave. Our Jr/Sr. Prom is scheduled for Saturday, April 13th at 7 p.m. at Bell Manor. The Grand March will begin at 6 p.m. in the high school gym. Zane Trace Prom Promise Activity- Friday, April 12, 2024 On Friday, April 12th, at 8:30 a.m. there will be a mock crash staged in the parking lot between the baseball and softball diamonds. The mock crash is part of a prom promise activity for our juniors and seniors. The Ross County Sheriff's Department and Ohio State Highway Patrol will be present and helping facilitate the event. Emergency personnel will be on campus and near the scene, but remember it is a drill prepared for our students. The drill should be over before 9:30 a.m. We are asking all students that normally park in the lot the drill will take place to park in the parking lot closest to the field house. After the event concludes, the juniors and seniors will report to the high school gym to listen to a guest speaker and sign the prom promise. All seniors will be released to go home after the event.

Class of 2024 Spoltlight Kaitlyn McDowell Kaitlyn aka “Tater” will graduate from Zane Trace High School and Pickaway-Ross CTC. She is currently licensed and working as a cosmetologist. She plans to further her education in the cosmetic field.

Class of 2024 Spotlight Jaden Downour Jaden Downour will graduate from Zane Trace High School and Pickaway Ross CTC. He is currently working his senior year full time at Igel Construction in Columbus. He plans to extend his work at the company and enlist in the army after graduation.

Students attending will depart from lunch and board the bus at 10:45 a.m. There are two buses. Bus A is seniors and sophomores. Bus B is juniors and freshman.
