God, Flag, & Country Speech contest district representatives from ZTMS. Each student wrote and memorized a 3-minute speech. Great work, ladies!

Congratulations to the Zane Trace 8th-12th Grade Concert Band on their EXCELLENT performance at Ohio Music Education Association's District 16 Large Group Adjudicated Event at Miami Trace today!
The band has been working very hard to prepare for this event and made a lot of progress individually and as a group in the last couple of weeks!
Way to go, Pioneers! We are very proud of you! Thank you for all of the time you put in practicing on your own, practicing after school, and working together!
Thank you to the parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and community for showing up for these students and helping them get to and from practices and performances. These experiences wouldn't be possible without your support!

Please join us in congratulating Scarlett Houts, Jasmine Gillow, Paisley Shaffer, Emily Barker, and Kate Congrove on a wonderful performance with the Ross Regional Beginning Honor Band on Saturday, February 28th, at Chillicothe Middle School! They participated in the 2nd year group. They spent most of the morning rehearsing four new songs and put on a wonderful concert that same afternoon.
Thank you to our students for all the work you put into preparing your music in advance, focusing during rehearsals, being respectful to students and directors from all over southern Ohio, and always doing your best! It's truly remarkable what everyone was able to accomplish in one day.

If you missed out on the presale and would like to enjoy Chick-fil-A sandwiches for dinner on Thursday, there will be 17 extra sandwiches available for purchase from 6:15pm-7:00pm. Call Mrs. Waller at 740-775-1809 ext. 2194 if you'd like to purchase one of the extra sandwiches. There may be time to order more sandwiches when we pick up the order that we placed last week. They are $7 each. Pickles and sauces will be available on the side. There will be chips and beverages for sale as well.
The Zane Trace Band Boosters and students are working hard to raise money to replace the marching band uniforms and annual operating fees. Donations are always appreciated. The 7th and 8th Grade Band will perform their songs as smaller ensembles on Saturday, April 18th at Chillicothe Middle School. Times will be determined once we have registered.
