The band has been working very hard to prepare for this event and made a lot of progress individually and as a group in the last couple of weeks!

Please join us in congratulating Scarlett Houts, Jasmine Gillow, Paisley Shaffer, Emily Barker, and Kate Congrove on a wonderful performance with the Ross Regional Beginning Honor Band on Saturday, February 28th, at Chillicothe Middle School! They participated in the 2nd year group. They spent most of the morning rehearsing four new songs and put on a wonderful concert that same afternoon.

Call Mrs. Waller at 740-775-1809 ext. 2194 if you'd like to purchase one of the extra sandwiches. There may be time to order more sandwiches when we pick up the order that we placed last week. They are $7 each. Pickles and sauces will be available on the side. There will be chips and beverages for sale as well.

The 7th and 8th Grade Band will perform their songs as smaller ensembles on Saturday, April 18th at Chillicothe Middle School. Times will be determined once we have registered.

Team Tressel Fitness Challenge kicked off today at Zane Trace! Lt. Governor Jim Tressel shared the importance of daily physical activity, goal setting, sleep, nutrition, and quiet time with students in grades 3-8.

The Zane Trace 5th-12th Grade Band is currently running a Chick-fil-A Fundraiser on Thursday, the 26th, before the 7th-12th Grade Band Winter OMEA Preview Concert. The sandwiches will be ready to pick up or consume from 6:15-7:00pm outside the Middle School Gym. Sandwiches are $7 each. There will be Pepsi products and a variety of chips available for $1 each as well.
