Congratulations to Zane Trace 7th Grader, Sophia Williams, for reaching the podium for the State Indoor Track Meet. Sophia placed 4th in the 400m (1:04.52), 6th in the 800m (2:33.8), and 10th in the 200m (29.43). Sophia is only 1 second away from tying the ZTJH Girls 800m record of 2:33.8 set by Taylor Hatfield in 2008. Hatfield went on to win the State in the 800m by setting the Division II State record of 2:08.91 in 2010. That record is remains to this day. We look forward to seeing Sophia push toward that goal.
