ZANE TRACE FFA OFFICERS WORK HARD, PLAY HARD ON RETREAT

    Friday, June 22nd the newly elected Zane Trace FFA Officer Team net for their annual officer work day and retreat. This day was dedicated to the planning of FFA activities and events for the 2011-2012 school year, along with the bonding of the new officer team.
   The day began bright and early when the officers met at Zane Trace. Throughout the day, they took part in activities such as personality tests, splitting into commitees, and brainstorming for the upcoming year. The day resulted in many fresh new ideas for the chapter.
    "I think the personality test was a really important thing to do. It helps us better understand our fellow officers, and how they react to things such as stress," said Eva Bugg, chapter Chaplain.
   After a morning packed with hard work, the officers and their advisors headed over to Hocking Hills for a canoe trip down the river. They paired up and began the five-mile trip, laughing and splashing along the way.
    Overall, the day proved to be productive. The officers really came together as a team. They are an enthusiactic group, and can't wait to put their ideas into action.
