Little Pioneer Literacy Night
The first ever Little Pioneer Literacy Night took place on Thursday, April 11, in the ZT cafetorium. After a presentation on the Third Grade Guarantee, Mr. Stump revealed his favorite book, Curious George. Most students predicted that Mr. Stump's favorite book would be The Principal's New Clothes. Students moved through activity centers for the rest of the evening with their parents. Plans are already under way for Literacy Nights next year in October and April.
Zane Trace Third and Fourth Graders relieved their stress at an OAA pep rally. On Tuesday, April 23, the third graders will start the process by taking the Reading OAA. Fourth grade takes the reading on Wednesday, and third grade takes the Math OAA on Thursday. Next week on April 30, the fourth graders will take the Math OAA. Grades 5-8 are testing during these two weeks as well. The teachers and students are to be commended for the time and effort they have put into getting ready for the assessments! Go Pioneers!
